JV County Duals - January 22, 2010 
Lambert Quads - December 21, 2009.
In what one official dubbed an event that ran "as smooth as silk" Lambert hosted teams from Alpharetta, North Gwinnett & Johns Creek. The point totals at the end of the day were:

Lambert earned pins with Seth Young, Luke Avera, Tanner Morrison, Reno Landers, Jacob Theirer, Dustin Muse, Eddie Worrell, Matt Werner and Michael Underwood. Congratulations to all the wrestlers. JV is off the rest of the year with the next event being a combined V/JV event at North Hall High School on January 5, 2010.
Creekside Invitational - December 11-12, 2009.
Both teams fared well this weekend at the Creekview Invitational. It was nice to see all the parents turn out to support the teams.
The junior varsity wrestling team continued to improve this weekend as four wrestlers placed at the Creekview Invitational. Gantt Bauer was crowned tournament champion for the weekend by defeating a solid 215 pounder from Chestatee!!! Other placers for the Longhorns were Dustin Muse (3rd) who pinned his opponent for 3rd, Michael Underwood (4th), and Seth Young (5th) and Hunter Adams(6th).

North Gwinnett High School- December 5th, 2009
Congrats to our JV guys for great individual performances this weekend at the JV Bulldog Open at North Gwinnett. Per Coach Hannaford, the boys looked better and better each match. Most of the boys got at least one win.

The Varsity & Junior Varsity travel togthter to both events this week. Both will wrestle in Dahlonega on Wednesday facing Lumpkin County and Towns County in a dual(team) event. The boys then wrestle Friday & Saturday at Creekview Hogh School in Canton in a Varsity/JV Individual tournemant. Refer to Coach Contardi's email related to the plan for those events.
